The Thrills of Blueberry Hill

Heavenly Harps is becoming a regular at Blueberry Hill in LaGrange. We are thankful for the opportunity to play our harps for the breakfast and lunch crowds at Blueberry Hill restaurant. There is never an empty table and we know why! The pancakes are the best in town. We are thankful for Mr. Chris, the owner, who delights us with wonderful, fluffy warm pancakes when we play our harps twice a month. Pass the syrup!

Heavenly Harps at the Gala

Could there be a more fitting evening than to be a child born in Oak Lawn and playing a harp for a Gala event to raise funds for the Children's Museum? With 250 generous guests, the Oak Lawn Children's Museum is in good hands to reach goals to complete the Children's Museum by December 2008. Mallory and Morgan of Heavenly Harps were honored to bring beautiful music to the Gala dinner.

Valentine Harps at The Center

What a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine's Day -- at The Center! Some of our favorite people and some of our favorite animals. We were not in our farm clothes today. It was our long formals with sparkly hot pink! Despite the snow, almost 40 listeners relaxed to sonnets of love and beautiful harp music. But never fear . . . we'll be back to work on the farm on Thursday! Who ever said that harps and goats don't mix?!

And a Partridge in a Pear Tree!

Heavenly Harps had a grand Christmas Season of music at many events. Let's see if we can put this to music: 6 local restaurants, 5 dinner parties, 4 Christmas receptions, 3 bank lobbies, 2 joyful weddings, and harp playing angels at a floral shop! We just love the Christmas season!

Heavenly Harps at House Walk

Wow! Beautiful houses from the greater Orland Park area were on display to hundreds of local residents. We had the opportunity to provide Classical and Christmas music for this event. Heavenly Harps was noted with picture in Elite magazine.

Heavenly Harps in Florida

Today we left for 2 weeks in Florida. We are going down for a family wedding, mini-cruise, time on the beach, a few days in Disney World, and on to the Creation Museum. Music always sounds better on a beach!

Harps in History

Today, the entire family joined together in our rendition of "Harps in History." All four Ms (Mallory, Morgan, Marisa, and Mia) loaded the van with 3 harps, 2 violins, and a flute for a local senior's luncheon. Grandma even came along to assist in driving a few of us over to the luncheon since we couldn't all fit in the van. We wore our 1700's dresses that we made for Jamestown. It was so much fun to include the whole family in this historical presentation. Our Mom made it a point to include the history of chocolate since Hershey Kisses were celebrating their 100th year. She always finds a way to talk about her favorite food!
